About Trash Sergeant
Our Team
Mission Statement
Trash Sergeant was built to more affordably get the job done right. As a veteran-led company, we know the value of structure, clarity, and follow-through.
Multifamily property managers aren’t just looking for another vendor. They’re looking for someone who understands the grind, who sees the full picture, and who doesn’t leave the dirty work behind.
We operate with clear systems, straight answers, and a high bar for performance. Our role is simple: support the people who keep communities running. That means fewer complaints, better curb appeal, and one less thing on your list.
We don’t need to promise perfection. We just keep showing up, night after night, to deliver what was agreed on to the best of our ability. Every night, the work gets done because we inspect what we expect. Property managers don't need more excuses or cleanup duty.
They need a partner who follows through without reminders.
Who We Are
Trash Sergeant launched in 2016 to solve a recurring issue in multifamily housing: vendors who didn’t communicate, didn’t follow through, and didn’t respect the standards property managers expect. After years of dealing with that firsthand, we decided to fix it and do it for less.
Founded by a military veteran who knows what it takes to be accountable, the company was built on structure, clarity, and showing up consistently. We didn’t get into this business just to haul trash. We built this company to raise the bar and give property managers something they’re rarely given: follow-through with no need to chase it down.
Operational details have been mapped to reduce friction for the people we serve. If something gets left behind or overlooked, we drill down on the issue and fix it.

Trash Sergeant was built to be the partner property managers can count on when it’s late, it’s messy, and it still needs to get done.
How We Serve
Trash collection in multifamily housing should be simple, but it rarely is. Overflowing bins, missed pickups, and last-minute excuses lead to complaints and frustrated residents.
Trash Sergeant provides a consistent nightly service based on a clear plan. Each community receives scheduled, uniform service that aims to keep breezeways clean and management out of the crossfire.

CLEAN RESULTS
There’s no mystery to what we do. Bags are removed directly from designated containers outside resident doors and documented through time-stamped reporting. If something goes wrong, it gets flagged fast and reported to property management. Communication is direct, and details are in the nightly report.
That means fewer emails, fewer calls, and more time back for property staff to focus on everything else they juggle. The end result is a cleaner property and a smoother operation.
Our Core Values
Respect: Property managers are pulled in a hundred directions. We respect their time, their workload, and the standard they’re expected to maintain.
Follow-Through: If it’s on the schedule, it gets done. No extra emails. No reminders. Just clean breezeways and cleared containers.
Transparency: Trash Sergeant reports are time-stamped with a GPS breadcrumb. We have a map showing our crew's location on the property. Issues are flagged and shared, so property managers can take action if necessary.
Accountability: If there’s a problem, it gets addressed fast. No excuses. We own the work and the outcome.
Service: This isn’t just trash pickup. It’s support for the people keeping properties running. We serve so others can focus on what matters most.
These values are at the core of every route, every pickup, and every communication. They’re the baseline of what we expect of ourselves.

Looking Ahead
Trash Sergeant isn’t finished building. The company was founded with a clear operational goal, but the long-term vision is bigger. We will expand across more regions in the Southwest. As we grow, the core will stay the same: serve property managers with consistency, communicate clearly, and deliver on what was agreed.
In addition to scaling services, Trash Sergeant is laying the groundwork for veteran hiring initiatives. The same high standards that built the brand create opportunities for those coming out of service and into civilian life.
Good service isn’t something you try once. It’s something you reinforce, repeat, and keep getting better at.
